Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum and Taylor Swift Education Center
Are you ready to move and groove at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum? The city’s long and deep-rooted country music history is indisputable and interesting, even for kids! Families can discover and learn more about country music, past and present. As you walk up the hallway connecting Hatch Show Print to the main lobby of the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, check out the rotating exhibits on either side of the hall, and take advantage of food options, water fountains, and restrooms. Pass through the lobby, hit pause on the narration, and play when you are ready.
The Taylor Swift Education Center, which is part of the museum, offers a fun space for unique hands-on experiences connected to the museum’s content—just for kids. Three classrooms, a video conference lab, an interactive gallery, and more, create an exciting learning environment for all ages. Open during museum hours, the education center also features youth art installations and special artifact cases. With programs that include curriculum-connected activities for school groups, tailored programs for toddlers, and after school workshops for teens—the Taylor Swift Education Center is a special, dedicated space where visitors of all ages can experience the culture of country music.
While we won’t enter the museum or the Taylor Swift Education Center on this tour, we encourage you to purchase tickets to explore it on your own. Also check the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum calendar for seasonal family events—often free—and other special events. When you’re ready to continue the tour, exit the lobby and walk down the front steps to return to Demonbreun Street.
Fun Fact: When viewed from the air, the Country Music Hall of Fame® building forms a massive bass clef and the windows are designed to look like piano keys. The scramble letter for this stop is “C” for “Country Music.”
After exiting the front entrance and down the front steps, you will be back on Demonbreun Street. Turn LEFT and return to the corner of Demonbreun and Fourth Avenue. Now cross over Demonbreun, along Fourth Avenue, and take a RIGHT into Music City Walk of Fame Park. Listen to the narration before exploring Nashville’s Stars!
