Music City Walk of Fame Park

Out in Hollywood there’s the Hollywood Walk of Fame but here in Nashville we have the Music City Walk of Fame. As you take a relaxing stroll through the Walk of Fame you’ll see “Star Guitar” tiles honoring prominent figures in the history of Nashville and its music. Some of those names—like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Tootsie Bess and Ernest Tubb—you’ve already encountered on this tour. The Walk of Fame continues to add names of new members during spring and fall induction ceremonies. They include those from all walks of life and all types of music but all have a connection with Music City. Check out the other impressive names while you stroll through the park. Take our Downtown Schools and Education, Public Art and Murals, and Family Fun Tours to learn more about the people on the Music City Walk of Fame.

Congratulations, you have completed the Music in Music City South Side tour. Now, take a deep breath and exhale. Don’t you feel accomplished and maybe even a little smarter? We have hit some of the highlights in a city full of music and musical talent and we hope that you have enjoyed it.

To complete the Music in Music City experience, we recommend that you take the North side tour and the Music Row Tour, if you have the time and inclination. You can also check out other thematic tours on Nashville Sites that explore everything from food to art & architecture to the stories of Women’s Suffrage and Civil Rights. Whether you’re a visitor, new resident, or lifelong Nashvillian, we hope you have a great time in downtown Nashville. Music is a fun business. Now go have some fun in Music City U.S.A.

If you want to get back to your starting point, turn RIGHT and walk just one more block along Demonbreun. The Music City Center will be across the street on your left. Cross the street at either Fifth or Sixth Avenue and remember to look both ways and live more days. Thank you for using Nashville Sites, this is Don Cusic, signing off.
