South Broadway Architecture
Congratulations, you have completed the Nashville Sites Broadway Architecture Tour! The old adage “if these walls could talk” reminds us that every building has a story to tell. We hope you’ve been inspired by the stories behind the buildings and structures on this part of Nashville’s larger historical narrative. Many of these sites are on other tours, so if you are curious about a building’s role in other parts of our history, dive deeper into Nashville Sites for related tours.
If you want to learn more about Nashville architecture, please visit our Capitol and Church Architecture Tour that explores the northern end of the downtown core. Don’t forget to take a stroll along the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge if time permits. On your way across, you’ll have a great view of Tennessee’s first LEED Gold skyscraper, the Pinnacle at Symphony Place. You won’t be able to see the one-acre green roof terrace garden on top of the Pinnacle tower building, but you should certainly take a selfie in front of the spectacular Nashville skyline.
This is Kem Hinton signing off. I wanted to thank you for taking a part in this tour, and I hope you’ve gained a new appreciation for our city’s vibrant historic and modern architecture. Visit us at Nashville Sites again soon.
