We hope you enjoyed this tour!
Historic Music Row
We’re glad you’re in Nashville spending money for our city—your visit helps us fix our pot holes and send our kids to school. Also, if you love Music Row, then join local and national preservation efforts to protect it from redevelopment. Since 2013, over sixty buildings have been demolished. In 2015, the National Trust for Historic Preservation named Music Row a National Treasure.
We hope you’ve had a marvelous visit and you’ll tell everybody you know and come back again to visit, ya-hear? And if you’d like to know more about Nashville through walking tours, check out the Nashville Sites offerings. There’s so many that you’re bound to like some of ‘em, and if you want to know more about the larger area, take our Music Row Neighborhood tour.
WHEW! Bet you’re ready for a little snack-a-roo or maybe some liquid refreshment. Well, as you stand on the corner of Music Square East and Division, you can see a line of restaurants. If you have a spirit of adventure—and want to test your skills with cars and drivers—you can cross over Division and Demonbreun—NOT DEMON-BREW-IN!—to imbibe, refresh, and discuss all the things you’ve seen and learned today. Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug! Speaking of…all this talking has made me thirsty. This is Don Cusic signing off. Bye!
