Description
In 2017 Mark and Diane Janbakhsh transformed an abandoned Kroger Shopping Center into a destination for food, culture, art, music, entertainment, and retail – all under one roof. This center for tourism and entertainment houses an art gallery, a Mariachi hall of fame, and live music and more. The plaza holds events, year-round, for children and their families, such as, arts and craft activities. They often host local talent along with both nationally and internationally recognized artists. They are locally known for their performances, these primarily being traditional genres of Mexican music and dance. Plaza Mariachi is well loved by the Nashville community.
