Description

Located above the Johnny Cash Museum, the Patsy Cline Museum showcases many of the artist’s personal artifacts. The 4,000-square foot space was opened in 2017 by Bill Miller with the help of Cline’s family. Cline was born in 1932 in Winchester, Virginia. She recorded three albums and had two number-one songs in her short career. She successfully recorded songs across music genres, making her the first female to achieve such a level of crossover success. She died at the age of 30 in a plane crash. In 1973, she became the first female solo artist to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
