Description
Built in the early 20th century, the home at 1503 Edgehill Avenue was the personal residence of architect Moses McKissack III, co-founder of McKissack & McKissack. It served as both his home and professional base, continuing the legacy begun by his grandfather. Originally a private residence, it remains in the McKissack family today. The surrounding Edgehill neighborhood became a hub for Black professionals and creatives. The home stands as a symbol of enduring legacy and Black excellence.
