Kingdom Cafe and Grill was opened in 2016 by Howard Jones Jr, the senior pastor of the Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church in Goodlettsville. He felt as though having just having a building that is open Sunday's and Wednesday's was not the only way a church should help its community. With the help of his son, Howard Jones II, and the staff, fifteen of whom were previously incarcerated individuals, the restaurant has served the community well. The southern/soul food found at Kingdom Cafe and Grill is a comfort to all who eat there.
