Founded in 2016, the Nashville Walls Project has brought over fifteen artists to Nashville, providing them with the opportunity to leave their mark on the growing city. Originally a one-time event sponsored by Gibson Custom Division, event-turned-project was started by Eva Boros and Brian Greif (1960-). As of early 2019, Ian Ross's mural is one of the most recent additions to the project, overlooking a parking lot on Eleventh Avenue in the Gulch. Trained in ceramics, his mural echos the movement and three-dimensional detail seen in sculpture. Ross hopes "...his mural in the Gulch allows the public to be individually and collectively affected by something they can see within his piece."
