Description

The East End neighborhood started to emerge between 1880 and 1945. The neighborhood formed as the result of streetcar development across Nashville. These streetcars connected East Nashville with the rest of Nashville, allowing middle class citizens to live in suburban areas. East End fueled the surge of middle class neighborhoods in Nashville.
