Description

Frank Liddell (1963-), who has worked with acts like Kellie Pickler, Brandi Carlile, and Miranda Lambert, left Bluewater Music, a publishing company, to launch Decca Records in Nashville in the 1990s. After Decca's failure, Carnival Music Company was founded in 1997 by Travis Hill and Liddell. It differentiates itself from other publishing companies and record labels by calling itself a "music company," although it does act as both a publishing company and record label.
